„The Shelter of Love“ is the name of the modern design nativity scene, a campagne which has been exhibited in the foyers of the stilwerk houses in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hamburg from 18 November 2019 to the beginning of January 2020.

Visitors can experience the „Shelter of Love“ – a contemporary interpretation of a nativity scene – in a new way by means of a walk-in room installation and ask themselves questions about home and protection, solidarity and fundamental rights, as well as transparency and peace. On the basis of the traditional roles of the Christmas story, the six different design positions were translated, designed and built into the present day with 12 students of the Köln International School of Design (KISD). The project is realized with Letters Are My Friends and Stilwerk.
