CAROLIN SCHABBING IS WORKING AS AN EXCPERIENCE DESIGNER DIGITAL AND ANALOG INBETWEEN STORYTELLING IN VISUAL MULTIMEDIA DESIGN & SPATIAL INSTALLATIONS AND PHOTOGRAPHY

As an integrated Designer, I deal with the design of interpersonal relationships and spaces. In Italy, at Politécnico di Milano I worked on an anthropological approach for the approximately nine-month mars mission in cooperation with ESA – European Space Agency. In cologne, I was part of an international creative team and worked on an exhibition concerning the debate on Europe’s and Germany’s role in the so-called refugee crisis.

In Helsinki at Aalto University, I focused on my Bachelor’s Degree in a spatial installation of self-reflection to destress from the complexity of the many on- and offline spaces and the confrontation of the many virtual selves we face nowadays. For STILWERK, I worked on a six-week spatial installation; a crib scene interpreted in a contemporary way – experience it anew and ask questions about home and protection, solidarity, and fundamental rights. In all of the projects is the User center of interest and solution approaches. A particular concern is a balance between humans and their environment.
